Overview

As Lead Dynamics Engineer you will help deliver RSSBs vision of becoming a fully digital organisation by developing and configuring our Microsoft Dynamics D365 Customer Engagement & Business Central systems.  You will devise and champion solutions which make these systems and processes easy to use, and ensure they deliver the necessary functionality to be at the heart of how we do business.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of software enhancements, defect corrections and integration of features in Dynamics 365.
  • Provide an in-depth understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365, and how it can be configured or extended.
  • Maintain a user-centred approach and rapid iteration cycle.
  • Manage the Dynamics 365 platform including configuration and integrations.
  • Evaluate the organisations business processes against standard Microsoft Dynamics 365 functionality.
  • Lead analysis & design workshops with the businesses, championing opportunities to reduce complexity.
  • Lead the planning & sizing of technical delivery work.
  • Coach other engineers in the team on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 development lifecycle and technical capabilities.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Experience of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and Business Central capabilities and architecture.
  • Experience supporting an organisation implement and embed ERP solutions.
  • Experience of the Microsoft Power Platform, including Dataverse, connectors and flows.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365, and how Dynamics 365 integrates with these platforms.
  • Full delivery life cycle experience: requirements gathering, functional design, business process analysis, implementation, testing, go-live, training.
  • Communicate effectively and share thoughts and ideas through methods appropriate to the audience.
  • Adapt and respond effectively when embracing new opportunities, change and in navigating uncertainty.
  • Actively contribute as part of a team and work towards achieving team goals and outcomes.
  • Take responsibility and demonstrate accountability in completing tasks and achieving objectives, actively seeking to resolve problems and identify opportunities.
  • Committed to customer service and placing customer satisfaction at the heart of our success to ensure we deliver against our shared goals.
  • Can work collaboratively within an evolving industry, gaining stakeholder confidence through understanding their goals and motivations and demonstrating credibility as an expert.
  • Make timely, informed decisions taking account of the benefits and constraints involved.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of user research approaches and best practices.
  • Experience of Dynamics 365 Project Operations
